Last month, we announced that we had been nominated for not one but two awards for our partnerships with Face the Future and Meta, for the launch and continuous development of Face the Future's ecommerce platform.  
 
On Wednesday 28th July we were amazed to find out that we had won both the Global Ecommerce Website of the Year and Global B2C Website of the Year. 
 
Whilst we were not able to attend the awards ceremony in person due to Covid restrictions, we were glued to our phones as we watched the virtual event presented by Andy Crane, who came to fame through his time with Philip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher, in the infamous Broom Cupboard on Children's BBC TV (for all those old enough to remember) 😊

How we supported the ecommerce migration? 

When Customer First Digital partnered with Face the Future, the scalability of their existing ecommerce platform was assessed. Discussions immediately turned to the need to migrate the website to Shopify Plus in time for the peak 2020 trading period. 
 
We undertook an initial website audit and competitor analysis to identify opportunities to develop a set of requirements and reviewed potential development partners who could support. Having previously worked with the team at Meta., we recommended to Face the Future that they should be an option to consider as part of our market review of Shopify development companies.  
 
During the development of the new site, we partnered closely with both the team at Face the Future and Meta to ensure that the requirements were implemented and improvements in both Conversion Rate and Average Order Value would be realised. Since the launch and the best ever peak trading period, we have continued to work collaboratively on new ways to improve the customer experience and trading metrics.
