Customer First Digital 2021 Award Nominations

It has been a busy month, as we have been shortlisted for three awards for our work with Face the Future over the last 12 months. Find out more about what we have achieved with our partners and why the work has been acknowledged in the industry.
The Performance Marketing Awards
We were shortlisted at the end of May for our first award at the prestigious PMA's for our work in migrating Face the Future's affiliate programme to Rakuten.
To increase online sales, Face the Future partnered with Customer First Digital who identified that the affiliate marketing channel was underutilised and delivering less than 1% of the overall traffic and revenue. To improve performance, Face the Future migrated to Rakuten Advertising due to its award-winning service and expertise in the health & beauty sector. The successful launch has seen growth well beyond initial forecasts and business expectations.
The collaborative approach has delivered the following results:
Significantly exceeded forecasted revenue and ROI, 586% higher revenue achieved
200% greater ROI than forecasted
14.5% of overall revenue is now generated from the affiliate channel
5 x more traffic and revenue-generating publishers than on the previous affiliate programme
Triple-digit revenue growth month-on-month
Staggering 486% growth in revenue since the full launch month

Whilst we did not manage to scoop the big prize at the award ceremony, to be shortlisted and be in the company of big brands including Sainsburys, John Lewis and the eventual winner AO, was an achievement that we were extremely proud of.
The Global Digital Excellence Awards
At the same time we planned the migration of the affiliate programme, we set out to migrate the Face the Future site to Shopify Plus. We quickly identified Meta as our partner of choice to drive the development of the site.
One of the key objectives of the launch was to ensure that Face the Future maximised the peak trading period in November 2020, whilst continuing to drive performance growth post this period. Such staggering Year on Year growth along with the creativity and level of innovation delivered, in a tight deadline has ensured that we are shortlisted with Face the Future and Meta for two awards.
